Important Information for Protecting God's Children for Adults

High school students are not permitted or required to attend this workshop. High school students and younger must read and agree to the Code of Ethical Conduct for Minors ONLY. Please contact your parish/school Child Safety Coordinator for this document.


Victim survivors of sexual abuse are not required to attend this workshop. Please contact Tina Steck at tinasteck@archstl.org in the Office of Child and Youth Protection for alternate materials.


Anyone who has previously attended a live workshop for Protecting God’s Children for Adults since 2002 may contact the Office of Child and Youth Protection to confirm attendance and transfer it to your account in Prevent and Protect STL.



If this workshop is IN PERSON:


Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the workshop to sign-in and complete any necessary paperwork. Doors will be closed 15 minutes after start time and late arrivals will not be permitted to enter. Due to the content of the workshop CHILDREN ARE NOT PERMITTED and childcare will not be provided. In case of INCLEMENT WEATHER please check local news stations for building and school closures. You may also contact the location directly to determine if the workshop has been cancelled. REGISTERED participants will be notified by email and/or phone if a class is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Please allow at least two hours for the session; length may vary depending on group size and discussion.



If this workshop is on ZOOM:


Please ensure that your device has both audio and video capabilities and login at least five minutes before the start time. The session will last approximately two hours and participants are asked to remain visible for the duration of the workshop in order to verify attendance. This material is not suitable for children; please find a private location and use headphones, when necessary. Anyone seen operating a vehicle during the session will be removed and will need to register for another workshop at a better time. The Zoom link is below, when applicable, and will also be sent via email the day before the workshop.


SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS WORKSHOP:

Workshop is held in the Main Hall of the Parish Hall. Masks need to be worn for this workshop. Seating is already social distanced, please do not move the chairs. Be sure to arrive by 6:30 to sign-in. After you have signed the attendance sheet, take a folder containing paperwork. When you have completed the 2 white pages in your folder, please turn them in at the end of the workshop. Thank you, stay safe and God Bless.
